 Well, maybe it's because Wii have been selling out since launch, and 360's were sold out earlier this year, so Sony wants to experience how it's like to be sold-out, and feel some consumer love and longing...lol.

OH NOES! THE PS3 IS DOOMED! THE 360 IS JUST TOO POWERFUL NOW WITH ITS PARTIAL PRICE DROP.

Yeah ok. Give it one, maybe 2 weeks. This is clearly a result of the 40gb drying up (the restock on the 6th is the result of clearing out the warehouses.) Then we will have the 80gb core, no more $299 Xbox360's with HDD's, and it will return Wii>>PS3>360.

It might be fun to get a few ban bets in right now, lol. (Are ban bets illegal now?)

Yay for opinons! You do realize that not everyone has the same opinon as you and is therefore entitled to like a lineup of games to a different console. Hell, you could argue that the Ps2 has a better holiday lineup! (Yay Persona 4!)

Not an opinion.  Too Human is questionable (and coming out in August), but this holiday Gears of War 2 and Fable 2 are super hyped and very anticipated by the general public and thats all that matters.

I know it's been said already, but you guys are missing the ultimate point that really makes everything else moot. Amazon is by no means a reliable indicator of sales data. Want proof?

Notice how the 360 version of Soul Calibur is ranked higher than the PS3 version? Yet we all know the PS3 version is going to sell better in Japan.

Amazon sales charts are only good for seeing very very general trends.

Other upgrades: 2nd analog nub, touchscreen, blutooth, motion sensor. Design: Flip-style or slider. Size: Think Iphone. Cost: $199. Will be profitable on day 1.
