I'm pretty sure it's real, my Target had them out and priced. However are they just there to pique interest ? I'm not sure I didn't ask to buy it but they might just have them out and not be selling them just yet, hard to say.

i got one about a week ago at target i didnt think they would have them and i went and there was a sticker on the box "now with a 60 gig harddrive" its really the same exact thing but with more memory lol

I think it's a great idea to come out with a 60 GB. It's much better than Sony doing it, because of the fact that Microsoft makes money off of the Extra GB's when Sony's hard drives can be replaced with normal ones. The 360's Hard drive is iron clad to Microsoft. Sony has no right to make people pay for a larger hard drive when people can go to their tiger direct and just replace it themselves.

Figure MS already has all the 60GB HDDs sourced and packaged. It's not difficult to just slap a sticker on the box to specify the extra storage. They did the same thing for the holiday bundle where the games were added into boxes and marked with a sticker.

The real question is whether the new 60GB SKUs will have the Jasper MoBos.

My guess would be that there is probably still a fair mix of Falcons in assembly bins, and it won't be until sometime late in Q3-Q4 that Jasper 360s are standard.
