I've actually gotten over the Wii, by which I mean I don't care if it does well anymore. I am perfectly fine with Nintendo existing as it always has existed in video games. In fact if the Wii helps get MS out of video games I'm all for the Wii going infinitely higher.
One pointer though, I would include ongoing PS2 sales when taking about the Wii's share. It is fair to exclude any PS2 sales before the Wii was out (though then I would exclude 360 sales before the Wii was out too) but for the last few years people have had a choice between PS2, Wii, PS3 and 360 and many of them continue to pick the PS2; in fact some weeks so many pick the PS2 it passes up the 360!
If you make it a 4 way race between Wii, 360, Ps2 and PS3 the Wii is still in 1st, but its more like 33%. Every time I go to gamestop there are still TONs of moms buying PS2 games and consoles for their kids. I mean lego batman is lego batman, its not like a 10 year old is going to complain about it not being in 1080p.
