no, i haven't read about any news whatsoever
Suikoden 1 will shortly be available on PSN, as I recall, so those who never got to play it... good times ahead.

The AAA games stay on the HD consoles it seems. But apart from that it's very quiet around Suikoden. I hope they'll make 6. In a few days it will be reveiled where the next MegaTen will go to. |
What?! Nooooooooooooo :( Anywhere but the Wii

Come on, it's only a rumor!
But I hope you understand that this was bound to happen with Wii's staggering sales. Especially in Japan there's only one current gen console selling. There will be franchises going to Wii, that's inevitable. But like I said, probably the smaller ones. Like we see with Tenchu and Fatal Frame. Tales is also quite small. Suikoden fits perfectly in that line.
But if you love the series you can always buy a Wii, it's not that expensive and it has a lot of great games. Suikdoden was never a very graphical game anyways.

Sigh, yes.. with the Wii's staggering success you'd figure it'd be bound to happen :( I can borrow a ps3 easily enough, so that covers ps3 exclusives, and I already have a 360.
But none of my friends are into the Wii, so none of them own one... and there'd have to be at least 7 or 8 games I'd want to play on the Wii for me to consider buying one. With their current demand and 'low' production, I think it'll be a while before we see a price drop to the point that I'd consider it.

I think 5 was the best too, but I know a LOT of people liked 2 a lot. And while I'd like to play it, I'm not going to go out of my way..if it's not on PS3 or 360, oh well, guess I'm not playing it. But I'd like to.

I never thought any JRPG needed any graphical showcasing, but apparently a few games seem to defy my logic (and yours too).
