Good, Good how much is PS3 and Wii in OZ?

Ferkin' too much! Thank god I am currently in japan and have only payed $400 for my PS3 and $250 for my Wii.

Australia is like the U.K, way over priced. It seams that the Americas get things a lot cheaper, but get payed a lot less too. Suppose it all balances out in the end.

PS3 has officially beat the X360 in Australia.

I hope so but perhaps they will wait for official numers from Gfk and add the bundles as well.....

The only likely adjustment to PS3 is downwards at the moment considering its latest shipment numbers. But of course Australia could be changed upwards and other areas downwards at the same time.

About the 35k giveaway PS3s, it was earlier reported that those would be included into Gfk numbers. I don't know how they track them, but given the huge jump in sales numbers in the last few weeks it seems very likely the giveaway PS3s are included in the 305k.

Weird... when GFK released numbers not too long ago... PS3 was nowhere near that... as i recall.


When they released the Wii's number.


Anyone got a link to the Sony Release? Wonder if they mean "Installed base" instead of sold to consumer. Which would be different since we've had no real way to track those massive PS3's for free deals to my knowledge.

 

Edit: Nah looks fine.  Thought that was at the time Wii had 500,000 but it was back when it was at 456,000.  PS3 was at 285,000. 


However that was combined Australia and New Zealand numbers... which... New Zeland is heavy PS3.  Perhaps these numbers themselves are Australia + New Zealand.
