Forums - Nintendo - America missed out on the worlds best RPG, but PAL didn't

what you guys didn´t have terranigma ???? you poor souls, some day I will sue Nintedo, the games Chrono Trigger - Link to the Past - Secret of Mana - Terranigma stole my childhood and left me a pathetic man-child, that case has a lot more chances than the "where are my pants" trial, had that guy won the U.S. would be drowning in a leagal-war right now "you took my pen in sixt grade, I want 50 milion"

Man, that game is great. I though I was the only one who played this hidden jewel. Good to see that VGchartz members have a great taste in games.

I played this on an emu, it was a damn great RPG, both good and very memorizable.

I am a PC gamer, and also have a NDS now, but without access to a Nintendo Wii until End of 2007.

Currently playing: Super Smash Brothers Brawl(Wii), Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer(DS), Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime (DS), WiiFit(Wii)

Games Recently Beaten: Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King (Normal; Very Hard after the next DLCs become available)

1 word: RTFA

Saying 'move over Zelda' is pushing it a bit far but yes it was VERY good.

Wow, awesome replies, good to see some of you have played it and loved it.

Soul Blazer and Illusion of Gaia were both released, but the third in the series wasn't. I am a fairly big fan of both those games, even if Illusion has the worst map movement ever. Never played Terranigma though.

See Ya George.

At least following a comedians own jokes makes his death easier.

Terranigma is light years ahead of Soul Blazer I (Illusions of Time) and II (Illusions of Gaia) I recently re-found those games in a games store, they are great but lack almost everything Terranigma has.

^^If Terranigma was marketed properly and made it to US I'm willing to bet we'd have a franchise as big as Final Fantasy and Zelda.

We still got SoulBlazer, a much better introduction to the series. I still prefer SB over TE, primarily because SB was so great.

TE had alot of coolness about it, and I need to re-beat it. I don't think I ever finished TE.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

If you finish Terranigma you'll want to kill the creators, also did you ever fully develop the towns into Cities? I know that if you vote for the wrong mayor in one town it'll never expand.

The end battle is so awesome, the last boss transforms 2 times and you find out why you are doing what your doing (resurrecting the world etc)

The ending makes you want to kill the developers for leading the last scene as obvious as possible to imply a sequel.

Terranigma was my first JRPG.

IMO, It is a masterpiece. I'm lucky to live in Italy
