I might get this game it looks good.
"Yoda, on the other hand, is broken. As I feared since the first moment he was announced, Yoda's height makes him an almost ridiculous addition to the ensemble and he's quite possibly the worst thing to happen to Soulcalibur IV." - IGN
OUCH!
And yet they both got the same score. Hahaha...

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.
Good ,I will pick up the PS3 version the 1 August ,thats when it is coming out here.
Is that game really different from SC3 except for the graphics (the graphics don't matter)? I thought SC3 was pretty much the same as SC2 so that's why I ask.
How many cups of darkness have I drank over the years? Even I don't know...

No, its got quite a lot of new gameplay stuff (armour and what not to stop continuous blocking, a finisher move that can kill a character in 1 hit if all their armour has been destroyed).
That doesn't sound like much but I think if it pans how namco intends will change how games are played drastically.
SC3 was pretty much SC2 with slightly better graphics and a load more characters...Although the game was very unbalanced with some exploits that broke the game entirely (Super Cancels) that shouldn't have been there.
I think namco decided to go back to basics in those terms by trimming some of the weird characters that didn't really add to the soul calibur world (clones\etc)....
it is about time ps3 games start looking better than 360's
End of Year prediction:
wii: 37 m
360: 24 m

Thanks for reading the OP, IGN only aplied the "quicker and more polished" to the load times, not to the graphics...
