OT: I agree with the Mario games, Tetris and maybe BoS and Turtles 2.

 

 

LOL, haha c'mon, after playing it for 100 hrs you realize Ninja gaiden was not that difficult (except the last level). BTW, I remeber Punch Out being a bit frustrating too (at least it had password though)

No, Ninja Gaiden isn't that difficult, except for that infernal platforming segment in the sixth world. But it is difficult enough to frustrate most people, especially the ending stage + boss rush. Battletoads is another story entirely.

Punch out isn't really that tough until you get to Super Macho Man and his random Instant KO Punch of Doom. And then you have the infamous first round of the Tyson fight...

Super Ghost and Goblins and R-Type where some of the other games which I played allot, because I totally mastered them. I could almost play them without dying.

How can you master a game that does not exist?
