You know why the developers did this? Because they know that pissing off feminists is fun and easy (like a game of Wii Sports). Seriously, watch the George Carlin routine on feminists. Doesn't take much to piss them off, and this reasserts that.

This is not bad press. In fact, Sony might sell more copies if they put "Feminists hate this game" in the PSN blurb.

That's not really a joke, by the way, as I personally have at least some sympathy with the feminist agenda. But it's fair to say pissing of black people (a la RE5) has a very different effect than pissing off feminists in the public consciousness. It's like the difference between insulting all Christians and insulting PETA: both may technically consider themselves righteous, but pissing off the Christians is going to get you burned, while pissing off PETA just makes the millions of PETA haters more likely to buy your game.

First they complain that woman always look perfect in Video games (remember the Lara Croft days?) and now this again X_X.

With a game that is unknown like this one, any press is good.

Its a f***ing game. If a girl has a problem with it, dont buy it.

It's sad how true this statement really is.
