Forums - Nintendo - How the Wii Motion Plus Works

This is pretty cool, i'm hyped up, too bad it's so far away.

Around the Network

Next E3 will be owned by the Wii, both Nintendo and 3rd parties with games using motion plus.

The only problem with swordfighting is that your swings won't be blocked by the opponent's sword, since you're swinging it in the air. The use of rumble would probably decrease this problem though.

I don't see this as a major problem. Your in-game avatar will simply deviate from your control for a moment as his/her weapon rebounds off the obstacle, then moves to align itself with your control once again. And if the avatar's sword has a hard time getting to where you're telling it to go, then you should stop telling it to go there. :p
