GAH!!!

I wish Benga would just buy a 360 already, the suspense is killing me.

OT: This game sounds better than I expected. Too bad PAL has to wait till 2009

What?!!?!?

You're teasing me I hope...

No unfortunately. It was a nasty surprise hidden under a lot of good surprises at Microsoft's JRPG-fest a month or so back.

Looks good for Vesperia. Symphonia 2 got 31 (from th ereal Famitsu though, we'll have to wait for that score.)

Anyway this is a nice score, I hope it will be reviewed well in other places. This might be a system seller for me, and everything that helps me in making the PS3 or 360 decision is very welcome.

I don't see why you wouldn't get a 360 if you like all of these JRPGs. You can always pick up a PS3 later if you really feel like you're missing anything.

I'm pretty sure I won't buy a 360 and a PS3, since 90% of the games will come to both platforms. And I seriously don't have enough time to validate 3 consoles.

Really the only thing holding me back from buying a 360 is the quality of the hardware. I always buy quality stuff and I hate it when things break down. My most wanted games are multiplat anyway: RE5, Beyond Good & Evil 2 and FF13.

But Star Ocean, Lost Odysse, Blue Dragon, Vesperia, IU etc are definitely on my list of games I really would like to say and I do consider the 360 library superior to PS3's, but PS3's don't die.

Well, it's a choice between buying a console with a large library of games you want but it may break once a year with a long warranty and a very easy way of getting a replacement, or a console that will never break but you will play a lot less. Easy decision really.

Back to Famitsu... the grades sounds great for Tales. I've never played any game in the series but all the talk around the forum peaked my interests. I'm keeping an eye out for ToS for the Wii and see what reviews come in from Famitsu mostly. Their grades seem rather well though-out (Haze excluded off course, perhaps this is due to a long FPS drought in Japan?)

Of course, there's also the argument that many of the 360's exclusives will go multiplat eventually (SO4 and ToV, much like FFXIII and Eternal Sonata - SE and Namco have set a precedent), while Sony's robust 1st/2nd party line up will always stay exclusive to the ps3 (LBP ftw).

3rd party exclusives are pretty much dead from this point onward, with the few that are left being released before the end of the year, most of which are probably just timed.  After that, it's left to 1st and 2nd party developers, and in this area Sony and Nintendo >>> Microsoft.

But I don't want to derail this thread, so I'll leave it at that. :P

There's a descripency here. How sure are we this is real? N4G is reporting that SCIV scored: 9-9-9-8(35/40)

1 point higher than you say it scored.

Who is correct?

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

That's a link to a site in Japanese, where the SCIV score is clearly 9-9-9-8.

What's up?

Do you have a link Tommie?

In your opinion. If you were looking at it objectively, it's more like Nintendo>Microsoft >Sony. When you look at the exclusive support for both consoles, Microsoft trumps Sony in most genres apart from PSN/XBL in which Sony has an arguably stronger lineup.

Oh yeah, so Famitsu gives 360 games a good score, and suddenly nobody is saying 'famitsu is useless' and 'dont trust famitsu' anymore.

Typical!

I hope my 360 doesn't RRoD
