Forums - Nintendo - Red Steel 2 will use Wi Motionplus

If this was what they were waiting for before the sequel, I could understand this. It's a core game for core Wii owners. This turns out even halfway good, and Ubisoft will prove they aren't one of those "crapping out" publishers.

Then again, this is the company behind Haze. So it might get a lot of hype and end up being terrible.

Haze was developed by Free Radical.

Still says Ubisoft on the cover therefore I blame them.

Ubi is probably responsible for rushing it out.

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

I hope RS2 will be great. And as they say in the interview: they consider Red Steel as an important brand so they will put a lot of effort in it. I'm really tired of the Ubisoft hate.

This is the internet. If you get tired of something being hated, you might as well hibernate.

Wait a second. From the Kotaku article:

"Red Steel 2 has been in development for many months now"

Okay, they are off the hook. That stupid moderator employee was just talking out of his ass, and I take back most of my negative comments... although they should still make sure Dogz and Sean White don't look like N64 games (might as well put it on WiiWare then).

I guess they didn't show it at Ubiday because they didn't think it was ready to show, but now the new control is reason enough.

Well if it wouldn´t i would have left the game in shelves..
Now it has chance to become great..Fingers crossed

now I'm even more interested in Red Steel 2..

I hope they learn many thing from RS ,and do their best on RS2. :3

I think I was one of the few that actually enjoyed RS... And could pull of decent combo's. I'll keep my eyes on this game but my expactations are average. Not bad, average

I enjoyed it as well. It had it's rough areas, but plenty of enjoyable parts as well.

Red Steel obviously was rushed out the door, and I doubt that was all Ubisoft's doing. I always got the impression that Red Steel was the Star Wars: Rogue Squadron II-type launch game for the Wii. Nintendo had asked Factor 5 to have the game ready for the GameCube's launch, and that's exactly what I think happened with Ubisoft and Red Steel.
