Same as the title. I'm grabbing one of these after work today. I know I want Rainbow Six, but I'm only getting one today. I guess I'm really asking about The Darkness, anyone played it yet? What's it like? etc, etc...

Did it come out for the PS3 in North America today? I heard the game was delayed a few weeks in Europe (it was supposed to launch simultaneously with the 360 there as well).

There is a Darkness thread you know for just this situation.

The Darkness comes out on July 20 in Europe for PS3 for some reason...

I'd rather rent both of them isntead.

I saw gametrailer's review on The Darkness and I can't say I'm that impressed by it. So I'd rather spend a couple of bucks and at least try and play through it in one or two rentals.

*edit* I was even more dissapointed when the reviewer talked about the multiplayer, it just proves to me that all games shouldn't have multiplayer because what ends up happening is a pinned on addition that doesn't really offer anything. Yet I see people claiming that games will suck because a lack of online.

I picked up Rainbow Six Vegas.

Half a year ago for PC.

But PS3 owners should get it too even though it's not as new...it still rocks.

As for multiplayer, I heard that RS online was badazz, though honestly I doubt I'll put more than a 4-5 hrs total into online play at all.... I don't play well with others, heh.

These regional delays are just stupid, there's not even regional coding, what the hell??? Sucks that EU is getting farked with yet again...... Anyways, yes The Darkness came out yesterday and Rainbow Six today.
