25 Celsius is only 77 Fahrenheit... it's about 32C where I am right now with heavy humidity and yesterday was 37 C >. anyway how long does it take for your PS3 to kick into this high gear? Is it in a nice place where the hot air pushing out the side can escape?

25? lol its even warmer in norway right now.

I wouldn't worry at all about this.

The weather has been very strange, its not juust been hot but everywhere has this "warm" close feeling. I think its this that is your problem. In the night in my flat im swating like a pig the last 4-5 days. And that has a black pulldown blind I have down after 5 six to help it cool down - doesn't help.

Anyway you really don't need to worry, I'm in the same boat in that I've had to increase the fan speed on me computer so it doesn't crash when doing heavy cpu load stuff (its overclocked quite far and the last few days have just pushed the temps past the level that the cpu i got in there can handle)

Trust me, your problem is completely "normal". I suspect its the humidity more than the heat itself though. We have had much hotter weather than this in the past that didn't feel this annoying.

It depends. My PS3 is out of range of anything that could block the vents. The other morning it lasted 1hr 30 mins without the fan going into turbo, and that morning was fairly chilly. This morning was hotter, and it took 30 mins. Sometimes in the last couple of days 10 mins is all it takes. But as a poster above said, i believe it is the goddamn humidity

THAT is your problem. You do realize that black objects absorb heat, right? It's the same if you go outside in the summer in a black shirt; you're going to fry yourself. Get white blinds instead for your room, it'll help. White objects reflect heat and light, so they don't absorb it. That's why people wear lighter clothing, such as white, to not get hot during the summer.
