Forums - Microsoft - Microsoft now receiving 2,500 broken 360s per day in UK alone?

Seems like a lot.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWW.

That sounds like an absurd amount. That would work out to 17,500 a week and 910,000 for the year. That sounds like an awful lot just for the UK.

Hmm. Interesting. IF I read correctly, it seems the center actually reported those numbers. I wonder how MS will tackle this.

Things Break...

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

It can't be true... this number is awfully high.

I pose the question: does everyone who's 360 (or Wii/PS3 for that matter) always go in for repair when they break?

How may people would you say actually rebuy the console?

It would be a minute amount (most probably around 2-3%) but this has always intrigued me.

And this doesn't cover people who get them repaired by third-party companies.

simply too much...they don't even sell that amount of consoles per day in UK (it would mean that EVERY customer brings back his console to the shop asking for a new one)...ok, it could be that they are DOA (dead on arrival) but the question remains: how do they know that they are broken? do they test every console before selling them?...oh yes, the next time we'll read that  24 people a day report serious injuries caused by the DVD-eject mechanism of the x360

2008 year end sales (made in January 2008):

44.2 M 27.1 M 20.8 M

I have never had a problem with any of my consoles (Not even my PS2 since launch), but I would most likely replace it.

Jesus dude how many times are you going to post that link?  You're worried everyone didn't already see it in the other thread?  Please just sell your Xbox 360s and go back to loving your PS3, then nothing will get between you and your first love and some of us won't have to roll our eyes at your posts.
