I didn't say you were sad, but don't pretend that you're not a little upset all those exclusives you are constantly touting got snubbed bigtime by the biggest review site on the internet.

Let's not try to spin what I said so it can be countered.

Because, in fact, I never mentioned your reaction at all. I simply implied that there would be a mass marginalization of this list, and there has been. Show me one PS3 fanboy who thinks this list is completely correct. If one existed, he wouldn't be that much of a fanboy, now would he.

You see, fanboys are biased. No matter how good, or bad their exclusive lineup is, they are going to pretend like it's the best thing under the sun.

When a source like IGN, which is about as well respected as any single source can be in Web 2.0, comes out with a list that completely snubs those exclusives, and praises some multiplats and exclusives of their competitors(Gears of War 2 has been touted by all sites, not just IGN, btw), then by god it can't stand. Every Sony fanboy with a keyboard and a clicker is gonna jump on this topic and flame the list for miniscule inaccuracies they claim completely destroys the credibility of the list.

However, it's all relative. What IGN thought is just an opinion. Just don't fanboy out so much you end up playing exclusives that you don't like just because you've convinced yourself you're having more fun then you really are.

Why don't you tell me YOUR best in show, since you don't agree with the list.

Here is mine:

I agree with everything, except RE5 should have won best in whatever category they categorized it in, GHIV shoulda beat Rockband, and Soul Calibur IV shoulda won best fighter. All in all, pretty fair and accurate list.

Well gears of war 2 doesnt beat killzone 2 in graphics thats for sure.

Performance is more important than graphics. Let me explain.

You know how Dead Rising on the Wii has about 10 zombies on the screen at once, and the 360 version has 100?

Well, Gears of War 2 manages to look almost as good as Killzone 2, but instead of having 1 guy playing single player in their demo, they had horde mode, which is I think 5 or 6 players at the same time playing the game, all rendered on 1 360, on huge battlefields, with no slowdown or tearing.

Now, let me explain something to you. Mass Effect for the 360 has some impressive graphics. However it had terrible technical issues. So, it's graphics sucked.

On the other side of that coin, CoD4 has some pretty good graphics, but the game runs so well that you never have any issues or framerate hitches, so it ends up having better "graphics" (which also means general graphics performance as well as nice looking still frames) than any shooter out there.

So, while Killzone 2 probably did have better graphics than Gears 2, as well as having nice performance, Gears 2 managed to do only slightly worse technical graphics, with possibly better performance, while it had much more going on, on the screen..

Therefore, despite the fact that Killzone 2's graphics look better in a screenshot and in general play, Gears 2's graphics accomplish more in action and basically have more bandwidth for onscreen action before you get those nagging screen rips and slowdown issues.

That's why IGN game them the award I believe.

This is obvious.

I'm going to save 60$ this year because Fallout 3 have failed in my eyes they have really dropped the ball with this game.

You're not really giving the game much of a chance, are you? I mean it hasn't even been released yet, and it did win IGN's best in show at E3. Do you think this list is incorrect in some way? Did it leave any games off? Name a few games that shoulda been on the list.

what reason would I have to be upset? IGN, or any gaming site out there for that matter, is not gospel when it comes to Videogames.

IGN gave one of my favorite games of all time Brigandine a 3.0/10, if I had believed them, i never would have discovered what a gem that game is.

wow fallout 3 does look gd poss rental or purchase dunno... Never played an action rpg b4 but this culd change it. At least killzone2 made the list for best graphx!
