I don't care. But it being in the the number 3 in the Amazon best seller list is great. I do feel that in the US there is this mentality of craving something that is out of stock. The Wii is forever out of stock and I have never seen it in any shelf till now. Of course the cost of the Wii helped a lot too and its a great console also with bringing completely ground breaking controller design..

It's widely in stock everywhere.
My Best Buy had 10 on display( and only 1 40Gb), Gamestop has it online too and Amazon still does.
Looks like Sony made huge shipments..

With bundles we might actually see MGS4 sales go up this week in NA..

Actually, it went like this:

Week 1: 163, 265

Week 2: 78, 811

Week 3: 57,870

Week 4: 62,105

Week 5: 74,626

Week 6: 58,145

So it rose by 17k from Week 3 to Week 5, but dropped back to Week 3 sales last week. This week will be the deciding factor as to whether or not these sales are the new norm.

If the 80GB bundles stay in stock, then there will be a fairly accurate gauge as to what the normal sales levels for PS3 hardware should be in NA until the next catalyst, which won't be until Fall.

I finally saw a couple bundles in stock at a Target last week for the first time since they were released. It took one month following initial release, reflecting supply/demand, substantiated by the spotty availability through Amazon (by Amazon at MSRP, not hardware flippers) prior to today.

Still in stock and still #3.

Should be a big week.
