If you say so. How would Ryu deal with Poseidon's Rage?

Probably like everything else..by pressing LT and Left Stick :)

Counter he wuld use the Wind Ninpo.

What would that do? I've never played a Ninja Gaiden game. I'm not assuming Kratos would win or lose (nor do I really care) so I'm just curious as to what Ryu could do against an attack like Poseidon's Rage.

As of the end of God of War 2 (thanks to Urns), Kratos has infinite magic so he could keep it up forever and can never be interrupted or knocked out of his animations.

Sephiroth is from Final Fantasy VII and Kratos is from God of War.

It's okay to be a newbie.  ^_^

Wow, this is quite nerdy, but here we go.

I would choose Sephiroth just because he is the coolest

Kratos, as for me, looks like Arnold Vooslo went mad...

Really, he looks OK for a wrestler, but I dont know, he looks too macho for a non FPS videogame IMO

Wind Ninpo causes all enemies in range to be sliced to high heaven. Its like putting enemies into a blender.

In shear speed Ryu would take them both out easy. Still, God of War is one of my all time favorite games, so in no way beating Kratos down, its just that Ryu comes out from killing the grand Archfield (who created humanity and everything else) without even a single cut.

On topic: Kratos would tear sephiroth in half with his bare hands.

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

You have not only found your way to a vide game sales website, but have registered for it, and are now posting on it.

The "nerdy" line was crossed a long long time ago.

Hmmm, Rage of the Titans (which Kratos has on permanently) seems to cut all damage down to pretty much nothing.

I wonder if Ryu could even hurt him.

At the same time it's important to note that he flew across a city and crashed through a building to go splat on a solid concrete floor... and then got up without a scratch on him.  Kratos is pretty durable IMO.

It doesn't last forever though, and it has to be built back up before he can do it again. Ryu is the master of damage evasion. You can sit at a boss fight forever simply because of his dodge move. To attack, though, he can be hit, but does it so fast that the only way TO hit him is if the guy never flinches. Even then....

Actually, the Urn of Prometheus gives him infinite Rage of the Titans.  The Urn of the Gorgons lets him turn enemies into stone with one swing of his weapons.  He would only have to hit Ryu once and the match would be over. ^_^
