Thanks for all the recommendations guys! It's clear there are many great games for the DS, just a case of getting the best deal. Is Guitar hero on tour worth getting?

I've seen Metriod Prime hunters and elite beat agents both for £12 in a second hand games store, do you think that 2nd hand DS disks are likely to be in good conditon as they are not optical based?

I suggest not to buy a used DS, just for the fact that it has a touch screen.
You don't know if the touch screen is in a good condition or not.

and these games are obviously pirated, which means that you cant save your games on it.

buy a brand new DS, you can buy used games online if you want, because cartiges are less likely to be in a bad condition.

The DS is new in an unopened boxed, why would the games not be able to be saved?

I'll try saving a game and If I have any problems I'll return the item.
