SSBB deserves to sell more, but Mario Kart is great as well!!

I'm glad to see MK doing so well. SSBB felt like a rip-off to me. I play MK waaaaayyy more.

I'm a huge fan of both Super Smash Bros and Mario Kart but in my opinion Super Smash Bros Brawl is the better title.

The only area MKWii trumps SSBB is online, but everything else about SSBB is above and beyond that offered in Mario Kart. The level of content in SSBB is staggering. I've still not collected every trophy, disc and sticker but the vault area is crammed with these things. I spent too long just reading through the trophies, listening to the music and looking at the artwork yesterday. And after several weeks of playing through SSBB I'm still not bored, there are so many modes, characters and levels, plus online (which is still fun). The game is also more flexible, there’s the item switch, you can set the battle length or number of lives, MK is too strict, you can’t even battle solo which was a big let down.

Sales don't equal a better game (and neither does being good at one game or the other btw >.> ...), was Carnival Games better than Zack and Wiki? No I don't think so. You have to remember MK has a much longer history than SSB, plus it has branched out onto handhelds. Casual gamers are more familiar with the title and on top of all that it contains the magic word “Mario” which most non-gamers will jump at

the same with me.

Edit: Yeah, it is true. Mario Kart 64 is close to 10 million sales, whereas the original Smash Bros. is at 5.55 million. Melee barely outsold Double Dash.

Mario Kart Wii playtime > 200 hours

SSBB playtime = 0 hours

and I won't be in the American GPs until there is an earlier one again, I have been trying to get to sleep earlier and it's very hard when you are used to going at 2am or later.

Staying up till 3am to finish the GP is quite tough but the turn out is so good it makes the GPs so frantic and exciting that it's definitely worth staying up for.
