Your answer lies with the install base of each system. More 360s so more ppl bought Halo 3. Even if you combined the sales for both Resistance games it wouldn't equal the sales of any halo game. Also note that a huge portion of PS3 users (Japan namely) don't play Resistance.

Nah of course it wont, if brawl couldn't with a much higher install base then the chance of R2 selling faster then halo 3 quite literally zero.
