and SE will even publish one 360 game : Project Sylpheed (is it already out ?)

FF13 will quite certainly be the first game from SE for PS3 so ofcourse we discuss that games date (The Last Remnant might overtake FF13 in developement though , if they don't make this one all that long)

No, there aren't "loads of games for Sony this year." They are giving you 5 games in America, and EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM is a remake except Star Ocean.  That's not a good sign at all for PSP development.  They aren't even remakes with signifficant amounts of extra content like FFIV.  They are the same games they were in the 80s and 90s with better graphics.  Even if you look at the long term:  The DS is getting the continuation of their second largest franchise, Dragon Quest IX, while the PSP is getting a spinoff of a game made 10 years ago and a technicle fighter.

Project Sylpheed is not developed by Square Enix, it's developed by Game Arts.  The only involvement Square Enix had with the game was stamping it's name on the cover of the box and paying for it to be produced.  I already posted this but here it is again since you apparently skipped it:

Wii: 2 games

-Dragon Quest Swords
-Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Crystal Bearers (Japan likely to be the only ones getting this in 07)

PSP: 7 games, 5 of them remakes, 1 KINDA remake. Dissidia doesn't have an anounced release date, so not listed

-Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core (Japan only in 07)
-Final Fantasy I
-Final Fantasy II
-Final Fantasy Tactics
-Itadaki Street Portable (Japan only game, remake of the PS2 game)
-Star Ocean (Not really a remake, never released in America)
-Star Ocean 2

DS: 12 DS games, 2 of them SORT OF remakes

-Dragon Quest IX (may not hit America in 07)
-Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker
-Final Fantasy III (if your in Europe, Japan and America got it in 06. Not really a remake as it was never released outside of Japan)
-Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings
-Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates
-Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales (everywhere except Japan)
-Final Fantasy Tactics: A2 (won't hit America till 08)
-Heroes of mana
-It's a Wonderful World (May not hit America this year)
-Won't You Also Listen To Classical Music on Your DS (a so-called Non-game from SE. Will probably never be released outside of Japan)
-Final Fantasy IV (This isn't really a remake either, as the game will be 4 times longer according to the director who claims that 3/4 of the original script were left out of the first release of the game due to the limits of the Super Famicom, and are now added back in)
-Itadaki Street DS (Just like Itadaki Street Portable above, it's part of the same Japan only Franchise. This is not a remake though).

The DS library dwarfs the others.  It's pretty clear where Square Enix's support is currently being distributed this generation.  If you live in America you get 5 games from the PSP this year, and if you are older than 12 you have probably played every one of them already except Star Ocean.  If you owned a DS you will get up to 9 games this year, and no fewer than 7.  None of these are old games to America.

I have both a DS and a PSP, but I'm feeling a lot more Square Enix love on my DS right now than on my PSP.  Personally, I don't like to rebuy games that I played 10-20 years ago.  I especially don't like to rebuy BAD ones with no extras and prettier graphics at a ridiculous price (FFI and FFII).  If I want those games I can get them both for $10 on Half.ebay.com for GBA (as opposed to $60+ to buy them both seperately for the prettier PSP graphics).  I'll buy FFIV, but only because it will be practically a completely different game with 4 times the original script in the game.  I'll also probably buy Star Ocean.  I can set aside $50 and have enough cash for every PSP game that interests me from SE, with the DS I'm working overtime to try and afford them all.  Remakes with cleaned up graphics are NOT signifficant console support.  RE4 Wiimake doesn't show Capcom support, and 6 Square Enix remakes don't show PSP support.

FF I & II are really the only releases to be honest.  FF Tactics is a different game although is a partial remake.  And the Star Oceans will be different enough.

FFVII: Crisis Core and FF: Dissidia are the two SE games to look out for.  I reckon Dissidia will be released in Japan before the end of this year seeing as it's part of the 20th Anniversary games announcement.

I also think that both will be released in the west by April 2008 at the latest.

Most SE games released this year are remakes to be honest though and that includes the plethora of DS releases although they seem to be putting more time into FFIII and FFIV on the DS than FFI and FFII on the PSP.

Prediction (June 12th 2017)

Permanent pricedrop for both PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro in October.

PS4 Slim $249 (October 2017)

PS4 Pro $349 (October 2017)

Putting in my two cents.

I'm getting tired of Square-Enix's lazy remake strategy of sprinkling their games randomly over the consoles to force competition for their product's exclusivity. I mean if they're going to make 3D remakes of the classics then why not just put them all on one console, either the PSP or DS, I don't care which, why are one and two on the PSP and three and four on the DS, its just asinine market exploitation by a company who has no need to even try to make a dollar anymore. Square-Enix has even publically stated themselves they'd rather just do remakes.
