I got the PC version as it has extra modes and best gfx also the cheapest version here with the nice extras. Its like half the price of the PS3 version here...

I don't understand how the PC version wouldn't be the best...

It has the best graphics options available, you DON'T HAVE TO USE A KEYBOARD AND MOUSE if you don't want to...Capcom has made some crappy PC ports before (RE4), but since then they're pretty good with optimization.

And DMC4 was developed on the PC then ported to consoles essentially...so of course it's best on PC.

PC version DMC4 77%
PS360 version DMC4 84%

I don;t like to play Capcom games with a keyboard. I should have plugged in a controller into my PC, I guess.

it's funny because Charles rated it without taking in mind if it was released later or not, whereas 1up said that they should have made the graphics better and other stuff, and that was what they didn't like it.

I played the demo and it was very smooth, just in open areas the FPS dropped a bit. but it's not my kind of game, extremely repetitive and I still think the puzzles are SO stupid

It gets lower scores on PC because 1) PC reviewers tend to have much higher standards and 2) PC reviewers tend to have less appreciation for Japanese (anime/manga) style games.

what does that prove? The PC version is still much better than the console versions. Better graphics, resolution, extra modes, great optimization and let's you play with a keyboard+mouse (which the console versions don't allow).

I think that Ubisoft/EA and SourceNext were the ones to blame for RE4 PC Edition...

what does that prove? The PC version is still much better than the console versions. Better graphics, resolution, extra modes, great optimization and let's you play with a keyboard+mouse (which the console versions don't allow).

 

No, just keyboard alone. Though you can use the mouse to browse menus
