Forums - Gaming - IGN reviews DMC4 for PC,says its the best version

They say its the best version then rate it with an 8.0 while the others got 8.7.

guess its because of how lta it is but come on, IGN.

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

I am too lazy to check up on what you say, but if you are correct...WTF??

Capcom should stick with console games. They've recently been pooping out some crap ports for PC.

Shut up, PC has been getting the best versions of Capcom's games because they're being made FOR PC, not PS3 or X360.

The PC version of DMC4 is much better than the console versions.

Capcom is developing all their games on PC, which is more cost efficient. So the consoles are the ones getting the ports.

DMC4, Lost Planet, Bionic Commando, Street Fighter IV, Resident Evil V were/are all being developed primarily on PC, then ported to consoles.

Something to note is that the game is very playable with a keyboard. In fact, i've had more issues with the control in the puzzle-solving sequences (because they require precise jumping and to posicionate the camera correctly) than in fighting, where I've had zero problems and all the combos are perfectly doable.
I'm in mission 17 and I can say that this is a great port, there are some annoyances like the 2 minutes of loading when you boot up (fortunately there are no more after that), but the game looks fantastic, I can even run it in high with a 7300 GT with some minor frame drops (I could reduce it to medium to run it fine, but I don't do it because the game looks so damn good).
Overall it's a great port, so good job Capcom
