DS can't beat PSP even with DQ5? In terms of software the DS does very well this week. Gundam battle universe is great but could have done better...

no that's not my point. Because our preview was showing ps3 at around 18k, people were saying that it showed the japanese needed jrpgs on the ps3, but that story seems not true at all.

Ok, guess you're referring to Tears to Tiara, but it's silly to suggest a low budget PC port of an SRPG should bump JP PS3 sales. It didn't happen with Record of Agarest War either. PS3 needs quality JRPGs, and this game doesn't fall into that category.

DS had a nice boost but PSP topped it with it's own boost... Wii normal, PS3 still falling slowly but is probably about where it will level for a while, PS2 doing good, Is that still Persona 4 boost?

360 seems to be much higher thanit has been the past months, even if that isn't much.

this further proves that the DS has saturated Japan... Even a game that launched with around 700k in sales did not generate much more than 15k in HH sales.

End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million 3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut
