Forums - Microsoft - 360 has best games in almost every genre

Yeah, that is pretty annoying when all the fanboyz cry about one year headstart. It is not ms:s fault that other companies did not get their consoles ready in time. ;)

The 360 has been out just under twice the time the PS3 and Wii has but just higher scores on those charts.

I expected better things from a one year head start.

I think the headstart thing is old hat at this stage.

all 3 consoles have been out long enough to have there act together.

after all this is sonys third machine.

It has been out for an extra 50% and the reviews would be more generous to those games, because there was little competition for next-gen games, and they had to rate them better than the PS2 equivalents which were still good games

I still call it A win.

The article fails to compare them on arguably the most socially relevant level. Which has the most thought provoking, narrative driven games? Ps3.

Skewing data on that one gamesradar.

It all depends on what you are in to.

I play games for relaxation I am sure others have different reasons for gaming.

Why did they even bother? That is no contest. Of course 360 wins in games.

Agreed. Oh, and nice sig. Really breaks down Ninty's E3 to a summary.

P.S> MGS4 is the only narritive thought provoking game on PS3, at least that the 360 doesn't have. Eh tu Mass effect, Bioshock?

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

The 360 needs more platformers and other titles in genres that are currently not represented well on the system.

I actually wish they would have shown a motion controller at E3. It might have lead to a resurgence of point and click adventure games and would have made the 360 a much better platform for strategy games.
