Well at least he doesn't want to occupy it. Just go in illegally against pakistan and the international communities will to kill terrorists.

Which is a stance i'm hoping he'll change by the time he gets back from this trip... as it's just a stupid idea.

I mean even Bush who is mister preemptive war wouldn't do that. The leader of Pakistan has it hard enough wihtout us going in and making him look even more useless. America doing that might be the final straw in the back that causes the guy to lose power and send the country into a panic.

Proof of that plan by the way.

Thanks man. I haven't been very political lately lol.

On topic: The idea of a split Jerusalem like East and West Berlin after WWII is just not a good idea. Though, if Jerusalem where it's own country, that would bring about even more problems. Instead of the Palestinians invading all parts of Israel, they could focus on that tiny little portion.

Anyways, it's not even that much land. It's all a desert anyways, what's the significance of Jerusalem? It's a just a city.

Well no offense to the pope... but Jerusalem is the holiest city in the world. All three religions that fight over the God of Moses revere it.

Well that and territory disputes among countries will always not get let go no matter how useless the land seems to be.

A lot of people have got very over-excited by Obama. They're treating him like the second coming. Assuming he does get elected, there are going to be a lot of very disappointed and disillusioned people. No politician can live up to the role some people have set for him and his views are a long way from what people seem to think. I appreciate US politics is very different, but by UK standards he's an authoritarian conservative - his support for ID cards and the death penalty would put him firmly on the right here.

Yeah, on the one hand there is that stuff... on the other hand there is other stuff before and since..

If Kingdom of Heaven taught us anything, its that religious disputes can be easily solved by Orlando Bloom
