Forums - Website Topics - Any Safari users out there?

Well now that I've got my new baby (Macbook!) I'm starting to figure out how it works. And I was wondering if anyone else out there uses the Safari web browser, and how well it works for them on VG chartz. It seems to work ok for me for the most part, except the rich text editor doesn't work. The menu appears and I can chose to change lettering colours or insert pictures. But it just doesn't work.

So is it just me? or does VG not fully support Safari yet?

Yeah. No coloured text, no smily faces, no "Picture this" thread additions.

It would make sense for the site to support it. It was released for Windows 2 weeks ago and is apparenly getting quite a lot of download attention. And the iphone will be using it as well, so it really should see a large increase in usershare amongst browsers.

So what say you ioi? Will you acquiesce to my demands? or will you calously force me to get firefox?

I've had a few other random issues with Safari on VG, but mostly just the text editor

I had my mac for over a year and i've had no problems with on VG Chartz pretty much smooth sailing i don't know about the other guys but I have no problems I even use it more then I use Firefox. If you have problems try download the Safari 3 beta at Apple's website.

I'm using Safari right now

Same here. I use Safari and cannot use the rich text editor. Everything else seems fine to me. I would love some more support for Safari. Also, if google is reading... more support for Safari also!

The rich text reply thing works ok (I'm using it now.) But not the editor. I have to cut and paste if i want to start a thread.

BTW I have read of people having issues with the Safari 3 Beta, so check out on the net before you try it.

I already downloaded the the Safari 3 beta it works fine i have no gripes i don't understand why you guys can't use the rich text editor. I used it and it's fine

I use Safari - and I only experience the one single problem you just described.
