It won't have the issue that Manhunt 2 did because it's anime-style violence. It's not realistic, it's overly exaggerated. Which is awesome IMO. Reminds me of Kill Bill.

It's funny, there are two conversations going on here that may end up countering each other.
The very particular cel-shaded graphical style being used essentially makes the game artistic instead of realistic. For this reason any Uber Violence is less likely to be taken literally, and in this way avoids the censors.
It's funny really, how rockstar goes on about the artistic merits of choking your criminal victim to death, whereas Grasshoper harps on about how comically slicing an MIB agent down the middle with a retrofit lightsabre isn't reputably violent enough. They seem to have reverse perspectives on their own works.
For the record, my opinion is that No More Heroes is the art and Manhunt 2 is the filth

agreed!

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release. (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

"You won't find Adobe here in Nairobi"

I can't understand how some people think it looks bad, I think it looks like the best Wii game I've seen so far. The style and art direction is awesome.

Have you played the first Manhunt? It was a good game. There are a million violent games that don't even get mentioned cause they're crap, Manhunt was a good game and Manhunt with Wii controls that allow you to execute people with motion controls makes that game the best 3rd party experiment with the Wii mote so far and right up there with No More Heroes as my most anticipated non Nintendo games on Wii.
Edit: Also these pics were in the scans in my thread about No More Heroes so they're not totally new :)

These are magazine scans.
If the trailer was running in engine, then expect that to be a better example of what the game will look like.
"I mean, c'mon, Viva Pinata, a game with massive marketing, didn't sell worth a damn to the "sophisticated" 360 audience, despite near-universal praise--is that a sign that 360 owners are a bunch of casual ignoramuses that can't get their heads around a 'gardening' sim? Of course not. So let's please stop trying to micro-analyze one game out of hundreds and using it as the poster child for why good, non-1st party, games can't sell on Wii. (Everyone frequenting this site knows this is nonsense, and yet some of you just can't let it go because it's the only scab you have left to pick at after all your other "Wii will phail1!!1" straw men arguments have been put to the torch.)" - exindguy on Boom Blocks
This game is a MUST-BUY :D. I mean, they have made Killer 7 and SUDA 51 is freak enough to convince me that game is one of the best Wii games announced so far! ^^
I'm just letting this thread slide, but yeah, these pics are in ckmlb's thread.
I have a feeling the game's going to have bad jaggies, and some low-res textures. That's not to say the game will be bad or even look that bad...but I just have a feeling. I'm buying it basically no matter what, so whatever.
