I'd get The Force Unleashed on PS3 and get the more Wii-geared Clone Wars.

That is the only console you have though! If it is really good (and cheap!) I might get it on PSP as well

That's kinda how I'm leaning. The more I look at Clone Wars, the more it looks like its gonna feel exactly the same as TFU. Having said that, I still want both. |
I think this plan sounds solid, though I do think there will be substantial gameplay differences between them. TFU is going to focus on massive force powers while Clone Wars will be mostly lightsaber combat, which to me sounds like Clone Wars will probably be more fun as a fighting game.
You could always wait to check out reviews. They might help you decide better than a bunch of speculation from us.

"The worst part about these reviews is they are [subjective]--and their scores often depend on how drunk you got the media at a Street Fighter event." — Mona Hamilton, Capcom Senior VP of Marketing

But a major reason to get the Wii version is because of the duel mode, but that is basically what the Clone Wars game is

i am a nintendo fanboy and however much i want to disagree and tell you to get both on wii i have to agree with mr. kool-aid.
the nintendo wii will outsell the ps3 and the 360 combined by the end of 2008.
PS3 will out sell the 360 june 2010.
GOTY of 2008 is super smash brothers brawl.... hopefully.
END OF 08 PREDICTIONS:
Wii: 45 million xbox360: 26 million PS3: 19 million (made beginning of 08)
wii: 44 million xbox 360: 24 million PS3: 21 million (made june 08)
wii code: 8094-5344-2140-1400
I'm torn too!
360 version: Digital Molecular Matter, and Euphoria engine add all kinds of realistic-ness to the graphics, and Achievemnts!
Wii Version: Intuitive controls, But I don't really care for duel mode.
PSP Version: Portablility, and Historic mode.
Decisions, Decisions!
To OP:
Do what you want to do.
Generation 8 Predictions so far.....(as of 9/2013)
Console that will sell most: Nintendo Wii U
Who will sell more consoles between Microsoft/SONY: SONY
I'm sticking to Nintendo yet again, so for me, if i have multi-platform titles spanning over the big 3, i'm getting the Wii version, mainly because i think that using the wii-mote is by far a more immersive experience than grfx i can have on my pc.
Then again, i'm also going down the path, that the second console will be my rpg supplier, ergo xbox360 will supply me in a manner the ps2 did a couple years back.
Huh. Who would've thought that beggining anew in my real life would coincide with starting anew on vgchartz?
Any day now, the dollar will be worth less than 2 zloty......any day now.....and my life savings will be in total jepordy ;(.
The big loss for the HD versions is going to be the missing 5 levels. The only thing you really miss out on by getting the Wii version is some physics effects.
Don't get me wrong I understand the appeal of the PS3 version but in terms of what you lose and gain I think the Wii version is an easy choice for SW fans.
Of course you could always rent one version and buy the other.

That right there may be the answer. I'm looking to reactivate my Gamefly membership soon anyway. I could stick to the Wii version for purchase due to the immersive controls and then rent the PS3 version to see the difference in graphics.
Keep this in mind when reading what I type...
I've been gaming longer than many of you have been alive.
