it depends on the Japan numbers

the preview had 360 at 2500 - 5000 and the PS3 at 14000 - 18000

when you factor in the margin for error, it is probably safe to call it a tie

America has always been their main money maker.  Nothing revolatory there.  Not sure how increased sales can be construed as a bad thing, especially considering we do not know how much it costs to manufacture each console.

It will probably only last until stock of the 20gb runs out.

Well, since everyone knew it was a clearance sale, this weeks numbers will show a spike for those that "rushed" out to get it before it is gone.  I think the numbers will be higher till the 20GB runs out, but not nearly as high as this week.

Any huge ass increase is good news, since it is now going to equal or pass ps3 sales wordwide this week.

well i don't see how it can be bad when it's better than the previous year ???? and last time I check the weekly non cumulative grpah... PS is not anywhere near doing amazing or even amazingly better than XB....

 

I personally expect XB getting closer to PS sales around hollyday season and even take over PS3 during tha time... i have almost no doubt about that... especially if MS comes with a massive add campaign late falll when they release the new dashboard and stuff around it... without saying that netflix and endemol will be probably pushing it too one way or the other....

I don't think his sig is right... but people thinking that PS is in safe position and that there is no way XB is taking back some momentum have their head way too deep in their ass

Not if Tears To Tiara and japan has anything to say about it. if the ps3 wins this week i will call the Hd battle over in sony's favor. Drastic: yes. Based on logical thought:no.

MGS4 first week didn't stop sony fans from claiming it was the start of world domination tho...blind fanatics are blind fanatics no matter the side, you know?

Sorry this is incorrect. Japan will see the PS3 outsell the 360 by 10,000 at least....

So the 'win' for 360 will be 3k max. Not really a win considering the 37 consecutive weeks that the PS3 has outsold the 360.

And no, im not trolling, just putting across the other side of this debate
