Forums - Gaming - Leipzig Games Convention: What do you think will be there for the big 3?

Any ideas? The only thing I've heard so far is that Heavy Rain will definitely be there for the PS3; I don't think Nintendo or Microsoft attended last year either. I'm certainly not going to get excited after E3.

The convention takes place between August 20th and August 24th before anyone asks.

All three attended previous years this year however Nintendo wont be there, apart from Nintendo all big publishers will be present again.

Leipzig is a far bigger event then E3 was even at its apex.

Well SCEE said they had like....12 things to announce. So at least one of those should be shocking or interesting....maybe.....please.....

The Lepzig games convention and the Tokyo game show are the two largest in the world. The lepzig event is estimated to be three times bigger than E3 with the 2007 edition attracting over 3000 journalist and over 500 exhibitiors.

I am a Gamer... I play games and not consoles. I have a PC and Console on which I game... I like games. End of Story!

gonna be epic,.. i heard that it's open to the crowd... if that's the case, i might just go ;)

Check out my game about moles ^

Because a friend and I know some guys at EA Köln, Germany we were invited to go there on the day where its press only. If we go I can provide you guys with infos if you want to.

We have been there the last few years and it was always a blast. But I really wont recommend going there on the public days. ITs crowed like hell.

Looking forward to it and about that 12 new announcements.

Maybe that game that BBC guy was taking about? It would make sense since this is in Europe and the game is from a European Dev. (this is under the assumption that the game is in fact real)

Probably also Wipeout HD from Sony Liverpool and hopefully the "stunning" game that EGM talked about back in March.
