Nintendo said they've thought about nintendogs for Wii since nintendogs launched on DS.

I think it's been fully realized that pet simulation seems to be more fit for the handhelds. Now if they were possibly able to advance it to something else then maybe a console version would be worth their time.

I could see it happening, but it wouldn't sell as much as on the DS.
