I predict its top week will be about 200k higher than the top week last year. 200k higher in others, 100k higher in NA and 100k lower in Japan.

To add I have been saying for a while that I predict a 2 million week for the Wii this holiday. The Wii managed 1.4 million top week last year, and supply will be MUCH better this year.

End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million 3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

Not going to happen.... another 30 million like 2007 would only bring it to 93 million. And it should do better than that but not by much, certainly not 7 million more.

It will likely end around 95 million.

Also a single week over 3 million would be absolutely insane... it has a chance to better 2.5 million but 3 seems way too high.... especially remember as the week will end on the 22nd this year instead of 23rd or 24th.... Had the week included those two days then 3 million would be an easier target.

It should manage another 6 weeks in a row at 1mil+ too. I doubt it can make 7 in a row though unless DQIX launches in Japan the week before that shopping day you Americans have (black Friday + Cyber Saturday or something)
