^ new fans can happen from the game though. I've never played a MGS game before (cept for 2 mins of some random part of mgs1 at someones place where i died instantly) and after playing MGS4, i've gotte say it's one of the best games evar ! (in my opinion)

Never worth it for one game.

Hell just rent a PS3 and MGS4 from a video store if that's all you are going to do.

You should look into Valkyria Chronicles though. It may interest you... it's got an anime like style and deals with military stuff (though granted no giant robots) like the anime in your avatar and sig.

Also for robots. Sony is supposed to be getting it's own Super Robot Wars game. Which won't come to america but are REALLY easy to understand control wise... and a lot of the scneario stuff is easy to get on context.

I imagine it'll look like the 360 version. It might even have some of your favorite Anime in it.



If both of those games interest you as well... 3 games is a decent base to get the system and hope more games come out.

Not worth it for one game. Don't get me wrong. MGS4 is the best game I've played this gen. This is the next gen gaming experience I was waiting for. Rent the console or look at the current PS3's library to see if other games interest you to buy it.

Yeah. I can't wait to find out what series they decide to include. They'll probably stay pretty safe for the first iteration.

New PS2 one comes out in September.

Yes buy it. Then you can get the awesome games to come later too... LBP, GT5, KZ2, Resistance 2, etc etc its worth it.

i find it hard to think that someone would just like one game on the ps3, if you like MGS4 then you should like alot of other games

Well I manage to borrow my uncle's PS3 for a month since he is not using it at the moment, along with Uncharted, heavenly sword, MGS4, DW6, flow, Winning eleven and Lair. Any PSN games that I can consider? My uncle got a HK$200 card for me to buy games with but I am not sure what to get.

MGS4 only lasted me for one week, so no it's not worth it
