I ain't no fan boy and I say Uncharted shits all over Gears 1! Believe me, I own both and have finished them 3 times! Gears is da box, jaggy king! Lets compare Uncharted 2 when it comes out then, yes?

PS3's advantages are storage for every system, more space for videos, and more parallel processing capabilities. Does that equal better graphics? No. Nvidia inside the PS3 is slightly less advance than the Ati on the 360. 360 also has 512MB available to the GPU if needed, while PS3 only has 256MB that the GPU can touch. That's why ports from 360 to the PS3 always yields less impressive results on the PS3 while ports from PS3 to 360 doesn't take advantage of 360's more capable GPU.

Maybe those very same people don't have the money to buy "elite" hardware to enjoy games at full-settings. Another possibility could be that PC gaming is not their cup of tea.

All the humans look like they've wrapped themselves in leather and recently went for a shining. Also, when I bleed, it also looks like some sort of plasma/dirt/blood hybrid that Michael Morbius would need to sustain Vampirism.

It's simple really, the 360 is around it's peak in performance right now and the PS3 is just getting warmed up! These kinder conversations come next year will be a thing of the past.

This is addressed to the posters that claim Uncharted or MGS4 doesn't look that good compared to the wonderful Gears of War....get a grip.

Yes, the explosions in Uncharted aren't that great, but that aside, the animation and graphics are simply stunning and only GT5P and MGS4 (as released games) come close to the quality. Killzone 2 is another game, due out early next year, that has outrageously better graphics compared to 99% of current console games and may very well be the best looking game this generation so far.

Come on 360 fanboys...the 360 is a great machine, but come on, when the PS3 has a great looking and great playing game...give it the credit it's due.

Unfortunately, that is both true and will fall on deaf ears.  I expected a religious experience when I played the first Gears on the 360 as I had been reading about how great HD gaming was.  While it was great (compared to the previous generation) it paled in comparison to what better graphics cards on PCs can do.  MGSIV is the same for me.  I'd heard how stunning the graphics were and was anticipating another "WOW" moment that just didn't deliver.  Again, the graphics are stellar when comparing to previous gen games, but when comparing to solid video cards, the PS3 and 360 are, well, not so impressive.   That said, I don't have a high end gaming PC so I just have to live with what I have in the PS3 and 360 and they are delivering pretty damn solid gaming experiences.

I doubt any PS3 fan would be dissapointed if it matches the quality of the original.

They even mention (which I notice you left out) how the PS3 version is getting an extra difficulty mode, all the DL content on disc from the 360 version, and even some brand new content in the form of 'challenge rooms'.

As far as I'm concerned, first party PS3 titles at the moment show a clear advantage over first party 360 titles. The difference is obviously not nearly as notable in multiplatform games.

@davygee, I own a 360 and many games and totally agree with u. The1st party games u mentioned on the PS3 look better than anything on the 360.

KZ2 has already been said to be the best looking game ever, so far, by many reporters, [not to mention MAG].
