Well this game is actually looking very nice, much more visually impressive then 'Unleashed'. It could actually be the first sonic game I purchase, depending on reviews of course.

Well it looks better than Unleashed in terms of graphics. I dunno about the whole sword thing, though I haven't played sonic much before so I dunno if it could work well. I do remember playing a 2D sonic game on a sega console however and that was fun. Maybe they should make a really nice looking 2D Sonic with the latest gen graphics.

It's not the first time that Sonic has a sword. He could fence in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games. And he uses a light sword in Super Smash Brothers Brawl. (It's one of my favourite items.)

I am one of the few people, who liked Sonic and the Secret Rings. I am sure that I will like this one too.

Oh well.....Sonic breaks all safety laws in this game (running with sharp objects is a big no no, hopefully no one in RL will decide to emulate Sonic's style from this game).

Every single Wii game has a sword in it. I think it is implemented to the dev. kits.

This is looking better than Unleashed, But Im gonna hold off until I see a trailer, but some of the mentioned features does make this sound potentially very good. Sword is probally waggle which will work really well when you running to give a good well timed flick to dispatch Foes.

Or it could be done like MetaKnight in airride who auto attacks if they are in the swords range which would also be good for running, and a waggle to attack whilst walking/standing still

I'm actually quite excited for this game now after seeing those screenshots and reading the details posted, This time yesterday the thought of sonic with a sword repulsed me, lol.



nintendo and sega fan since i was old enough to hold a game controller.

note: my games collection on my profile is only 20ish% complete, i've got a boatload of 360,saturn and dreamcast games to add and a few ps3 games, thanks :)

Thank god for this! I've had recurring nightmares about the Secret Rings game, even though I managed to reach the final level.
