Does Sony not understand that you can release things a little at a time. How about releasing a piece of it to start, then adding content regularly. Maybe like a weekly or monthly home update.

 

Wont work, its like a game it aint done till its done.

Right now theres not much to do in home, hell i havent loged on in months (maybe i should)

It's just as well PS3 has a 10 year life cycle. Homesexual dropping halfway through that timeline isn't such a bad thing...Getting Homesexual perfect before release is the best thing they can do for it...

I guess it proves the truth in the statement, "Sony is just a hardware company"

I call it the dismaystation or the Postponestation but the delay part fits so well! xD I hate to not use it.

 Sony is up their with Nintendo(some may argue either or) with amazing software.  It's Microsoft that produces poor gaming software...they produce very little...the majority of XBox 360 exclusives are 3rd party companies they've paid off.

On-topic: I seriously think they should just release a small version of Home (Beta or something?) as soon as possible. Make it so you can at least create your ''avatar'' and your room, a bit like what ''Spore Creature Creator'' is for Spore.

 So because they don't produce as much 1st party software they make shovelware? Your comment had nothing to do with the topic.

OT: I highly doubt it will 2 years but I don't think home is going to make some huge impact on the PS3 in any way. It's an excellent feature but even if it were to come out mid 09 I don't think too many people are going to care too much. (my opinion nothing more)  Home is an excellent idea but I think Sony just needed to market it differently instead of getting the idea to the masses at a very early stage. If they had just announced it at this E3 we would all be going nuts and could care less if it came out next year.

Lol... I'd rather have them cancel this project as their just wasting their money. They should just throw this cash at some capable developers who can deliver good games.
