I disagree with you because sales of PS3 games prove they're more important than you make them out to be. Resistance: Fall of Man to date has sold 2.95 million copies, which is 350,000 copies more than the original Fable did to date when Fable was released 2 years earlier. I think you're overestimating both the sales boosts for Fable 2 and Gears 2. Gears of War sold alot of games, at 5.28 million, but that's at about 2 years, and Metal Gear Solid 4 has already sold closing on half that in a little over a month.

 

And? MGS was pretty front loaded. Getting over 5 Million is only possible if Sony continues to pack it in for quite some time.

 

 

MGS4 will probably see a bost this holiday as well

I agree. It will get a great boost. It isn't a question now if it will pass MGS3. That's a given.

Really. I thought its best positioning was when it was coming off huge brand appeal from that of the PS2. Don't think it could have gotten any better than that ladies and gentlemen.
