Where is PS3?

@ Zorrocmcc the PS3 is a myth, just vaporware so they can destroy the Xbox360 like they did with the dreamcast. I doubt they will ever release it.

Sorry I am totally disinterested with PS3 (I still won't buy a PS2 either).

It looks like the main difference in the "flavors" of the non arcade version is hard drive space and perhaps a few extra gadgets with Elite including the HDMI cable which they claim is worth $50 (I am almost positive I can get it cheaper somewhere).

Question: can you back up Data from 360 to your PC through the ethernet link?

it depends on preferrences,this holiday 360 will get the better games,but in 09 i think wii will be the one to get the better games

 Ty - I don't think you can back up stuff through ethernet due to DRM issues but I think you can transfer save games somehow, thats what you want... right?

Arcade = Great value offline system, for online you'd want a HDD and some games load a little slower due to games caching data onto the HDD.

Pro = Online system + you can leverage their netflix services/download trailers/demos and install games you like onto the HDD so they play a bit better and it reduces the noise of the drive.

Look for a good deal - you can grab a Pro for $300 right now with a 20gb HDD which seems to offer a great balance of things or you can wait for the Jasper Arcade/Premiums at a later date, its your choice.

Update: Well I just ordered my XBOX360 from amazon.com

Private seller $299 for Jasper 60 gig (and he claims will throw in a free game for selecting the better shipping) I hope this isn't a scam. We will see.

So it looks like all in all I went with. Both!
4 new Wii titles + 2 Wii Ware + Wii Fit

and now XBOX 360 (maybe plus game) and Bioshock.

next up! Star Wars FU (Wii) and pre-order Fable 2 and pub games.
