Why can't Nintendo make money from both?

Oh, and the Rabid Nintendo Fans are part of the overall marketing scheme. They buy first and talk about it and show it off.

basically they just need to make money, if wii concentrated on proper core games i belive it would fail at doing so. nintendos best bet is to keep pumping out casual games aimed at family/child gamers because thats where the money is in the wii. so its not suprising that wii fit outsold metroid.

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

Those shrewd businessmen at Nintendo did some pretty good art on super mario galaxy.

I think some people confuse art with graphics and it is my opinion that you are silly.

Yeah because super mario galaxy, SSBB, Mario Kart, and LoZ:TP outselling all the core games/most on the ps3 is "Failing".

 No he confuses MGS with art. Apparently so long as a game as a convulted story it is the greatest thing since Tetris.
