@Rol: Well, it does. Let's make a dozen more and i bet all of the threads get locked.
I actually don't have anything agaings a thread like this, if its used to have a conversation about how could "console X" be priced at/have features as some other but troll threads where you pull stuff out of your ass (like this or Rock On:s thread) should be forbidden from the forum completely.

And i actually do have one point considering the OP, since if you're a person who doesn't know anything about consoles, you're propably going to see 3 consoles that are the same, but each with games you see in the media and all with different price (well, 360 has the price advantage but bad game selection of console defining games that interest the non-gamer).

let me see if I get this straight... 

Rock on threads is a troll thread where he just pulls stuff out of his ass (I agree with this), but your thread, where you put the same hardware in each console, but charge more then twice as much for the PS3 then the Wii a thread for discussion?

If 360 had the HDDVD player built in and Live was free I'd have 2 360's by now.

its so obvious what one would be the best for you money, its like saying i have 2 slim ps2 i am selling one for 200 and one for 600, what one do you want to buy

id still get the PS3, it has/will have the most exclusives that im intrested in.
