When I was in GAME yesterday, apart from noticing that the PS3 was out of stock, I looked the boxes for both versions of TFU, and I noticed that the 360 version says 1-2 players on the back and the PS3 just said 1 player. I thought this was rumoured but never announced, so does anyone know the differences between the versions other than acheivements?

I assume they will have almost identical features, PS3 and 360 version are supposed to be similar to each other

2 player... hmm If I wasn't getting the Wii version or considering it heavily it would definately make the Xbox360 version better for me.

Well I spose i'll post up the resolution comparisons and frame rates etc, but I predict the frame rate will give a decent nudge for the 360 - hence the reason Coop wasn't implemented in the PS3 version most likely and the resolutions will be about the same, because had they dropped the resolution on the PS3 they could have had Coop and a bettter frame rate most likely.

I dont know whether it is a co-op or some sort of duel mode? It did not say

might just be a print bug.. like they did with gran turismo prologue. It also says 1 player on the box but you can play split screen multiplayer..

and gta said it would have 2 players in singleplayer on the ps3 (at some sources) even though it only did have 1.

yeah I have seen false box info before. I would hope they wouldn't gimp one release over the other, but like Squilliam said maybe framerate was an issue.
