all i want is new zelda and disaster day of crisis

I hope 3rd parties dont disappoint us for this year.

Proud owner of all three consoles and handhelds.

Gamertag: MrKetchup911 (Add me up)

I wouldnt rely on the third party. Heres the official line up of games for 2008 on the Wii as per Nintendo. We can pretty much eliminate 95% of the titles as crap and shovelware, maybe more.

http://wii.qj.net/E3-2008-Wii-games-release-schedule-for-the-rest-of-2008/pg/49/aid/122234

I own all three current consoles and a great gaming rig, now thats out of the way.

This space Reserved for the Nuggets of Wisdom dropped by Bladeforce:

"Why post something like this when all it will get is PS3 owners blinded to reality replying? BOTH THE PS3 AND BLUE-RAY WILL NOT LAST 3 YEARS! TECHNOLOGY CHANGED TOO FAST!"

"is it Wii FIt that has sold as many as PS3's sold? Thats a LOL Look at the total sales of software is it just me that sees Nintendo titles hitting 10m+ and you say they arent making a difference? Another LOL!"

"Hell, with all the negative hype Sony spin, people just aren't interested cost is too high and to get the true HD experience (1080p, 7.1 surround) you will need a $1000+ system. THAT IS GOING TO DO IT IN A RECESSION! PS4 will not happen"

^ From that list these are the games I plan on buying for the wii. I might buy the pc versions for some FPS games instead though, or just buy both. i don't really like fps on the ps360 so I won't be buying them on those.

Quantum of Solace Video Game (Fall)

Call of Duty: World at War (Fall)

Sam & Max Season One (Aug. 12)

Skate It (Holiday) This isn't for me but for my brother.

Mushroom Men (October)

Castlevania Judgment (Fall)( This one depends on reviews.)

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (Sept. 16)

Star Wars The Clone Wars: Lightsaber Duels%u2122 (Holiday)

Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World (Winter)

Wario Land: Shake It!

Sonic Unleashed (Q4)

Animal Crossing: City Folk (Holiday)

de Blob (Sept. 22)

Deadly Creatures (Fall)

Seeing as I only have 12 wii games since launch, that is a pretty good list. This list also isn't full because its missing Little King Story and probably many other games. There are more I might buy/rent depending on reviews. There are also games I still have yet to get like Mario Kart, and Chocobo's Dungeon. Plus plenty of GC games to get. Also some games I might get if they get good reviews. And there are probably many more games that their release dates haven't been announced. Not to mention Wiiware games. So wii owners should be fine, especially if they have plenty of games they still didn't get yet.

Good thing the third-party efforts are much better this year 'cause the only Nintendo game I want is Wario Land Shake. 'Course it's hard to live up to getting Metroid, Mario, Smash, and Kart within an 8-month period.

the third parties companies are always complaning about nintendo games stealing their costumers, now the have a big chance to sell a lot and show their best games.

My Opinion on this: I the second half of this year is for the 3rd parties to not have to compete with Nintendo's games. I expect better sales from 3rd parties.

That's EXACTLY what I have been thinking. That is what Nintendo did with the DS, they got out of the way so third parties could make $ so they could lock in third party support.

This is a perfect time for them to do the same thing. With COD5, The Conduit, Dead Rising, Skate It, GH On Tour, SW:Force Unleased, SW:Clone Wars, RB2, Samba de Amigo, De Blob, Deadly Creature, Sky Crawlers, Lego Batman, Mad World, Shaun White, Tenchu 4, Spyborgs, Rygar, PES2009, All Play Madden Tiger & Fifa, Ghostbusters, Mega Man 9, Rayman Rabbid's TV Party, Monster Lab, Monster Hunter 3, and more all on the way, it's a perfect time for Nintendo lay low and let third parties get some profits from the fastest selling selling console ever made.

Money in the bank is the only way third parties are going to take the Wii seriously, and Nintendo might be very wise to duplicate the strategy it used with the DS and third parties. It will make sure Nintendo is not the only one developing good games for the Wii.

Next year M$ and Sony will have some big guns to fire, and Nintendo can use this time to make make sure it's 2009 line up is strong for the core and expanded market.

BAM! There it is!

Wii Code 3456 7941 4060 2924
COD MW Reflex 541192229709

Well..Third-parties gets big chance in Holidays, when Wii hardcore owners want to buy games..
Casual players will be satisfied already current games on the market and more coming before holidays.

I´ll say that third party game that will receive high reviews will definetly be million-seller.

Also gamers like me have change to buy little older games (like Okami,Z&W,No more heroes)..

Very disappointing imo. The third party lineup just isn't good enough this holiday to relay only on that.

Currently Playing: Skies of Arcadia Legends (GC), Dragon Quest IV (DS)

Last Game beaten: The Rub Rabbits(DS)

I think 3rd party games are good enough this holiday.

  • The big ones will be Guitar Hero World Tour and RRR: TV Party.
  • Call of Duty World at War has a very good chance at great sales, seeing how it looks, James Bond depends on its quality.
  • Furthermore the exclusive Star Wars game should be big. The Force Unleashed is said to be the ultimate version of the game.
  • Shaun White and Skate it will offer completely new sport games experiences.
  • RPG's in the form of Tales of Symphonia 2, Little King's story and Rune Factory.
  • THQ's de Blob and Deadly Creatures should sell well.
  • Sambi di Amigo previews are raving!
  • Sam & Max and Mushroom Men should provide great alternative games.

I'm not saying this is the best holiday line-up ever, but certainly enough to keep everyone happy, especially if you add Fatal Frame 4, Wario Land and Animal Crossing to this list.
