Yeah game is great. This is E3 footage. They were demoing this on 360. Consoles hold the game up well. They also showed a trailer of PS3 version to.

"wonky" seems to be the word of choice today hehe.

I'm guessing that's because this is the console version, because I've seen better animations from Far Cry 2 a half year ago.

Actually they made it a point to mention it was running well on a 6800 and a late-gen P4. Not sure if your PC meets those specs but if you're into PC gaming at all it should.

 

Ah thanx, thats good to know... I've got a Dell 8300 w/ P4 3ghz HT, 2 gigs of ram (only DDR1 though ) and an ATI X1650 Pro card which replaced my old 9800 Pro when it blew up (literally haha).  Not bad for a 4 year old PC... runs most games pretty well but once you start jacking up the settings the framerate usually goes chugga-chugga-chugga like a freight train from the 1800's.

Please be MUCH better than the first one..... Please be MUCH better than the first one.

Honestly, good graphics were the only thing I thought Far Cry had going for it. The voice acting was terrible, you'd get killed quickly even on easy, and the story was mediocre at best.

I haven't been following much of Far Cry 2, but I might give it a shot when it comes out if what I said above is fixed.
