Xbox up to 27, im calling that out for bullshit by the end of this year. Ps3 is reasonable, and Wii yea sounds about right

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. Exactly.

This thread will live on until the Wii passes 50% market share :)

I predict it'll happen by early next year. I think by December it'll reach 48-49% and by February-March it'll pass 50%. It MIGHT also do it before next year. Christmas will help a lot.

I predict the Wii will be at 43-45 million this year or so while the PS3 will be at 19-21 million and the 360 will be at 25-27 million.

Feel free to say why you agree/disagree that the Wii will pass 50% marketshare.

 Then i guess we must post on this every day.

I think it will definitely happen after the start of next year, too. The Wii's holiday lineup isn't nearly as strong as its competitors although it will continue to outsell them.

Won't it live on past then too?(if it happens) I mean do any of these threads actually get deleted?

someone wants VG$

Then we will have a party and remember the good times when it did live?

I think it could get to near 50% this year, but it also depends on how many people buy PS3s or 360s going into the holidays. If not some time this year, I'm going to say Febraury. You know, just for fun.

Edit: Yep, I am aware I take awhile after opening a page to bother writing and posting. The first comment is at Supermario128. Also, I'm in the camp that expects/hopes some more games get announced for the holidays.

@super

Don't know lol.

@alpha

Why? Did I somehow break the rules? No. Exactly.

Neither did the PS3 lost exclusives thread, but that got locked by Montana. Which is sad... because it was actually interesting to see what PS2 only games were going multiplatform.

I didn't really notice a game was PS2 exclusive back then... like I had no clue ROTK11 was PS2 exclusive.  One too many PS3 fans got too hyper defensive though, and down the thread went.

Only wii has got an upward trend lasting more than a week in the last 3 months
