I disagree with number 2 and haven't played #1.

ti think i must be a easy gamer to please then because i have played all the games on that list and have enjoyed them very much
Good list, MGS2 deserves that top spot, it's hard to wreck a series that completely in the name of story development.

Yeah, they're speaking about The Lost Levels that was packaged with Super Mario Allstars and later released on VC. They're not speaking of the very odd vegetable plucking floaty platformer that starred Mario, Luigi, Toad and Peach. That's not meant to be a bad thing. Super Mario Bros. 2 is one of my favorites.

I sort of agreed with the list at first until I saw the top two. I mean, come on. Chrono Cross and MGS2? FFX-2 and PD:Zero are way more deserving of being considered disappointments than those two games

Pretty much,
We get it people, Chrono Trigger was better, but that doesn't take away from the fact CC is still a solid game. Whoever wrote this article probably wanted to make a "statement"
And again, this song is just too awesome http://youtube.com/watch?v=ROKcr2OTgws
I wanted to post FFX2 after reading the list but I think some other people got ahead of me. For me the worst sequel (besides CC and FFX2) would have to be Apollo Justice, the 4th game in the Ace Attorney series.
How many cups of darkness have I drank over the years? Even I don't know...
I loved Chrono Cross. Yeah it may not have been perfect, but I still had plenty of fun with it, Glenn with 2x Einlanzer was awesome.
iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.
Currently playing:
Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

2 and 3 actually, but yes 2 is what I meant.
I was very disapointed in how little about the game changed. to me it was like 1 but with a ton more cars.
3 was a huge disapointment in a different way. The disapointment wasn't series development oriented but when taken into consideration the progression the genre had seen by that point, it performed very poor in my opinion.
