Forums - General - Anyone here embrace the fact they have no life? Be honest.

According to many I am considered to have no life, I work all day, come home at night, spend some time on this site, relax with my girlfriend and play games until I fall asleep. Either that or relax and watch a movie or get trashed on weekends.

I go out every once in a while to play Baseball and/or Hockey.

I embrace the fact I have no life.

Anyone else the same? Be honest people, anonymity is the beauty of the internet.

How can you say you have no life? Having no life would be doing nothing but eating, sleeping, gaming and posting on this site. However you have a job and a girlfriend, so that automatically puts you in the 'has a life' category IMO.

I play games when I find the time and energy, and while my life could always be more exciting I think I'm doing just fine. I have a girlfriend and a diverse collection of hobbies like gaming, ultimate frisbee, fantasy football, and an internship, so I think I have a life.

"get trashed on weekends."

true you have no life, you should do that everyday ( jk )

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

I don't probably, I'm here all day...

I know I have a life, although according to many outside of the gaming community I am considered someone who has no life because I would have no problem spending all 48 hours of a weekends slouching down on the couch playing games and eating doritos.

My best friend tells me I need a life.

I definitely have a life. School sucks up a lot of it, but when it's not draining my childhood away I'm doing things with friends, going to concerts, car stuff, etc. I also have plenty of friends, and while I'm currently single, I'm not incapable of getting a girl.

It's not so much that I have no life, it's just that my definition of having a life is usually society's definition of having "no life."

By that I mean that I do a lot of activities which fill my day, but they are not social in nature (they either involve individual sports like snowboarding, roller blading, hiking, or playing with my dog). It is usually social activities that society deems to be "having a life".
