E3 is not what it used to be. I expect most of those to be shown at TGS such as Dragon Quest IX, and MH3. ALso Retro is actually developing two more games.

I can't wait to find out what they are doing, I love their Metroid games, and I was always pissed about Raven Blade getting canned, which looked quite good. (here is a link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rvjbq5mo9GQ&feature=related) so if they do something like that, or create a new fps franchise I'd be a happy man.

It was herded out the back door while no one was looking. (That's why you need to watch those sneaky game developers/producers) On the serious side... I don't know... they might not have had enough to show... or maybe just nothing New that was major for those that were major. Maybe they thought they'd show things that would please the crowd that was at the show... (Not Us unfortunately) Who Knows??

Boycotting the following:

1. Yoshi: He ate my car and spit out a toaster.

2. Igglybuff: Totally false advertisement. You can have as many as you like they don't buff nothing.

3. the Terms Hardcore/Softcore... We're talking Video Games. Not Porn.

4. The term Casual as relates to Gamers: We make them sound like outsider's that happen to play games.  If that were the case they'd own a PS3.

5. Donuts.... Beacause I drink Beer...... and the biggest fan of Donuts hates Beer.

6. Boycotts: Their so lame.

Heavy Rain was shown behind closed doors. The people who watched it had to sign NDA's, so they can't say anything about it other than it is really impressive.

Next Uncharted... FF VII remake, Versus XIII, Star Wars Battlefront III (what else would FR be working on with Lucasarts?)

i am expecting tgs to be even bigger this year

Your expectations seem a little high. SWB is mainly targetted toward western audiences, so I don't know why that would be at a japanese conference. FFVII remake is very unlikely. As for Uncharted, Is it popular in japan? If so then maybe. The only prediction that you made that has a good chance of coming true is Versus info.

Yeah I did hear about that, I never really understood the whole behind closed doors and NDA thing, it's like, what's the point of showing them then? Iguess just to get them excited about it. But Heavy Rain and Team Ico's game must now be in development for 3 years, I can't imagine them having nothing to show the public.

I'm really thinking the E3 when it began it was a battle of everything you had, now its very strategic, and they only seem to show current year products, with a few people previewing early next year content with little detail. although some games I thought were coming out this year like Tiberium, but maybe it was pushed back.

Also what happened to Thesis? I was looking forward to that one too.
