I remember watching the bonus round (gametrailers), and an analyst called Michael Pachter said that it was inevitable that Mass Effect would come on to the ps3. Because EA bought the company and would make the game mulit-platform, is there any chance we could see mass effect on the ps3, would be great for ps3 owners.

Yes, because EA owns Bioware now. If Mass Effect doesn't come to PS3, Mass Effect 2 should.

The question is how much control do M$ have over the IP, as they published it for 360, but not for PC. I think it is unlikely, though ME 2 should arrive there later than on 360

Maybe Bioware is now a part of EA, but as far as I know, they've never really supported a Sony console. Still, with that said, I have no idea if EA has control over where their games go. o_o

It should be on the PS3 though, it's such a good game, and I think everyone should play it.

ME2? Possible. ME1? Never. It was published by MS though the PC version was published by EA.

The first Mass Effect probably won't. However, since EA owns Bioware, Mass Effect 2 will be on the PS3. Think Condemned the first one was a 360 exclusive the second was multiplat.

I think EA likes money, so I would expect it will eventually come to the PS3.

Unless, of course, there is a contract with MS that states that a PS3 port cannot happen.

Well, Bioshock is coming to the PS3, so I would expect the same of Mass Effect, maybe as ME 2 gets closer to a release date.
